Tourism & antiquities minister Kahtan al-Jibori inspected in USA ways to train specialized staff in Chicago institution for antiquities.

 

A source in the ministry told NMC that US side approved offering some scholarships in this field, he added that scientific US missions will start activities in Iraqi historic sites according to an agreement signed with the institution manager.

He concluded that the minister met representatives of US companies in the sector of hotels to lure them for business in Iraq.
