Minister of immigration Abdulsamad Sultan denied numbers talking about presence of one Million Iraqi in Syria, he explained that UNCHR statistics referred to 206000 Iraqis living in Syria.

 

Sultan affirmed that program of free return with flights is going on, and that his ministry resumes offering food items of ration cards through coordination with UNHCR.

 

Sultans declaration came as a response to the statements of Syrian foreign minister who talked about more than one Million Iraqi living in Syria are neglected by Iraqi government.
